EXTRA QUALITY MILK FROM SUBOTICA
The Subotica Dairy /Mlekara/ is the first and only company in the Serbian DAIRY INDUSTRY, holding all four most important international certificates: ISO 9000, HACCP, BRC and HALAL. The implementation of these standards are also confirmed by the latest results of the survey made by the Belgrade based Consumer Protection Movement. For the purposes of comparative surveying and quality assessment, 26 random samples of milk were bought on the territory of Belgrade on 18th May 2009. Thereof 13 samples were pasteurized milk, 8 were UHT and 5 samples were chocolate milk. Among the 26 samples, UHT MILK with 2.2% milk fat was graded as an EXTRA QUALITY milk, likewise 5+ chocolate milk. The products of Mlekara Subotica were graded as follows:
Fresh milk with 2.2% milk fat: Extra quality
5+ Chocolate milk with 1%: Extra quality
UHT milk with 2.8% milk fat: Excellent quality
Fresh milk with 2.8% milk fat: Excellent quality
UHT milk with 0.9% milk fat: Very good quality.
Mlekara Subotica was graded with the largest number of “Extra Quality” assessments for its products. The company is proud to be awarded with such good quality grades by an independent and professional team which proves the high quality products of this dairy and grants it a high position in relation to other, domestic and foreign competitors on our market.
